The property supports the activities of the Yayasam Bali Global charitable foundation. This provides free education for underprivileged children who would otherwise never attend school. In addition to attending the attached Hotel School, the students are also provided hospitality training at Suly Resort. This is part of their curriculum and raises the level of education provided to a high level.
Suly Resort is located a ten minute free shuttle from Ubud. It is between Mas and Peliatan, the woodcarving district of Bali. A very special place to be sure, with spectacular hillside setting overlooking lush rice paddies. Suly Resort features 16 beautifully designed rooms, which include Family Room, Rice Field deluxe View and Garden View Deluxe Room. Naturally designed rooms with interiors and accessories of combined taste of traditional and Modern Balinese Style.

Check in 12.00 noon. Our resort will try to accommodate early arrival in the first available rooms. Check out time is 12.00 noon. Late check out up to 2.00 PM is free of charge and subject to room availability.

Suly Resort features 17 beautifully designed accommodation units, which include a Family Suite with 2 levels, 1 Family Room with 2 Bedrooms connected by a door, 8 Garden Deluxe Rooms with private open balcony and 6 Rice Field Deluxe Rooms with a mountain view. Most of our rooms enjoy a open view of terraced rice fields. Our rooms are lovingly designed in the traditional Balinese Styles with a touch of Thai.

Views of lush rice fields, our spacious rice field rooms are far from the maddening crowds. Extra large bathtubs easily fit a couple. The rooms are well appointed and decorated in a blend of Thai and Balinese design. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $20.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total.
8 Garden View Deluxe Rooms ( 72 m2 )
Situated in our spectacular gardens, the upper levels have private balconies so be sure to check if available. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Single size bathtubs make room for a large living area. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $20.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total.

I think what Suly is trying to do is excellent. They need some assistance with providing western-standard service/facilities. Very nice staff and grounds are beautiful. This place has massive potential - just needs some financial and management investment. Think the price should be slightly cheaper for what you get and dvd hire should be complimentary.
Nice hotel with big room and balcony. The balcony has nice vice in the morning. Also room service is good as it was raining in the morning, and the hotel staff helped us to bring breakfast to our room. Bed and room is clean, however the bath tub can be improved further.

Certain rooms do not get the immediate rice field views with mountain backdrop as shown. That view can only be seen on the 2nd floor of the dinning hall.
